My journey with The Magnetpreneur started in January 2026! I’m the owner and creator behind Everheld, a small business based in Thunder Bay, Ontario. I’ve always loved being creative and making things with my hands. After spending years making earrings and running my own small business, I knew I was ready for a change, but I wasn't quite sure what that next chapter would look like.

While away with my daughter’s hockey team, I found myself searching for my next small business adventure. That’s when I came across The Magnetpreneur, a great Canadian company, and everything started falling into place!

From the very beginning, they were incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and guiding me through getting started. They provided templates to make printing easier and offered advice on everything from paper choices to printing supplies. Having that support made taking the leap into something new so much easier.

Over the last 10 months, I’ve created over 2,000 keepsakes for customers, and my business continues to grow! I’m always coming up with new designs, expanding what I offer, and creating custom orders for weddings, birthdays, memorials, celebrations, and all of life’s special occasions. I’ve also expanded into creating local Thunder Bay souvenirs, which has been such a fun way to celebrate the beautiful place I call home and give both locals and visitors a little piece of Thunder Bay to take with them.

One of my favourite parts of what I do is knowing that I’m creating something meaningful for someone else. There’s something so special about taking someone’s favourite moments and turning them into keepsakes that can be treasured forever. I love that these little pieces of happiness are easy to mail, gift, and share with loved ones, no matter how far apart they may be. It’s so much more than just making magnets — it’s about helping people hold onto the memories that mean the most.

As someone who has always had a passion for creating and supporting small businesses, I’m so grateful I stumbled across The Magnetpreneur. What started as me searching for something new during a hockey trip has turned into a business I genuinely love and am so proud to call my own.

THE STORY BEHIND PRESSED WITH EXTRA LOVE:

Pressed with Extra Love started with a dream – a dream to create something special for our daughter, Presley.

Presley is a sassy, spirited six-year-old who absolutely LOVES photos! Whether she's looking through them, taking them, or reliving special memories, we knew we wanted to find something creative that would allow us to turn her love of photos into something meaningful.

Cue the magnets!

We quickly realized that magnets were the perfect way to bring our idea to life. Not only could we turn treasured photographs into little keepsakes, but it also gave Presley an opportunity to get involved, be creative, and make a little magic of her own.

Presley has Down syndrome, and as her mom and dad, one of our biggest dreams has always been to create opportunities for her to have independence, purpose, and something she can proudly call her own. We wanted to build something that she could one day take over, grow with, and make her own in whatever way she chooses.

At just six years old, we know that day is still a long way off, but we are working toward establishing a future where Presley has the opportunity to thrive, explore her creativity, and be part of something she can truly call hers.

That is what makes this business so much bigger than just magnets.

Every dollar of profit we make currently goes into an account dedicated to Presley's future. We have also made a commitment to give back and support both our local and provincial Down syndrome societies because we believe in creating opportunities, building awareness, and supporting the incredible community that is part of our lives.

There is so much love, personality, and a little bit of magic behind our girl, and we hope that people can feel that in everything we create.

From custom photo magnets that turn your favourite memories into keepsakes, to our reusable colouring magnets that let little imaginations run wild again and again, we are continually finding new ways to create something special.

Pressed with Extra Love is more than a business. It's a dream for our daughter, an investment in her future, and a way for us to turn a whole lot of love into something meaningful.
